Breaking the English Language Barrier to Employment (BELBE) - Round II
From April 1 to June 1, 2016, 38 youth benefited from the second round of Jeune Espoir's BELBE program sponsored by Ms. Brenda Vander Schuur from Resonate Global Mission in Guinea. There were 10, 11, 5 and 12 students in the L1, L2, L3, and L4 courses of this round, respectively. The courses  were taught at JE’s headquarters (Center of Hope) by certified English teachers using the New Bridges and other practical learning materials. 84% of the participants completed the program and got each over 70%, the minimum required grade. The image reflect the achievement of this project as they display the classes and the project-based learning from the classes. While implementing this round, JE developed a web-based “Test of English Language Level” that the organization is currently improving to make it available online.
