Youth-Led Labor Market assessment and Advocacy
JE proposes to train students and university graduates in research design and data analysis in order to do Labor Market Assessments in their field of interest (Y-LMA). In carrying out Y-LMAs, youth involved will deepen their understanding of employment opportunities, constraints for entering the labor market, skills in demand by employers, and potential growth markets. Armed with this information, youth will be more likely to secure decent employment or to be successfully self-employed. In addition, JE will use Y-LMAs findings to raise community awareness and mobilize youth to advocate for better educational and economic policies.
